ME: A Midwestern wishful writer, mother, daughter, half-time orphan, worker, music lover, general person Exceptional.  A grown up who is not quite sure how she got there and not really sure she is there.  Or here.

I have a firm belief that we all have stories to tell.  Co-workers say I have the funniest stories from my real life; my response is that their family is wacky too; they either don’t want to recognize the ridiculousness in the moment or would never tell the world the way I do.  I have no shame; I tend to spill everything in search of a good story.

Having a forum such as this allows me the freedom to believe that i have an input in the large internet conversation on any number of topics I choose to address, and that even if a few people read them, maybe they gain some insight to themselves and not just insight into me.  I’d like every post to have a Doogie Howser theme song playing behind it as I type, and a nice moral to wrap things up.  Real life tends to be messier than that.  Real life is a burrito tightly wrapped in foil that no matter what, always has something dripping out the side that usually falls on  your pants.  That’s real life.
